  Foley Fall Classic
The first annual Foley Fall Classic was a resounding success. Horses came from as far away as Tennessee and South Carolina for the one day show. The weather was perfect... sunshine, blue skies and a gentle breeze welcomed the competitors. The horses and riders from Live Oak had a good day too, beginning with Debbi Stewart and "Lucky Jose’fina" taking a reserve in the yearling halter class. Not to be outdone, Donna Armstrong and "Lucky Joséfina" brought home the reserve in the Amateur halter class. "Total Knockout" was 3rd in the Model classes, with Debbi Stewart and Donna Armstrong. Justin Hackett and Gen’s Howl at the Moon" were reserve in the Showmanship class, and brought home the championship in the Country Pleasure Youth class.
Debbi Stewart and "Total Knockout" brought home the championships in the 4 & under Lite shod, the Western Pleasure Lite shod and the Trail Obstacle classes as well as a first in the egg & spoon, much to Debbi’s surprise. Live Oak Stable would like to thank the Volunteers, Heather Stafford, Holly Gray, Miranda Stewart, Toni and Sarah Phillips, and The Ammerman Family.
  2008 Season
Our first show of the 2008 season was very exciting! We were thrilled to place 3rd with "Total Knockout" in the model class behind the current WC Stallion and an International reserve champion mare in a strong class of 8. Watch for new photos soon!!
  Reaching the Top!
The Andalusia Alabama show proved to be an exciting weekend! Our filly Total Knockout placed a very impressive 3rd in Model behind the current WGC model stallion and a RWC stallion. She was the only mare to receive a ribbon in the very competitive class of 7 horses. We received many kind comments during the weekend and have decided to pursue a Model career for her. I’m Ebony’s Dixie Delight made a nice showing in the Lite Shod class and received a 5th place tie.

Tupelo, MS
The Tupelo MS show was worth the long drive. I’m Ebony’s Dixie Delight brought home her first blue of the season with Debbi Stewart and Total Knockout brought home a reserve in the Middle class with Donna Armstrong.
  Pensacola, FL
The Pensacola, FL show brought the show ring debut of Lucky Josefina and Debbi Stewart. “Josey” placed an impressive 3rd in a class of 8 entries in the yearling halter class and received her second 3rd of the day in the 2 & under class with 7 entries. It was also the show ring debut of the team of Justin Hackett and Gen’s Howl at the Moon. They placed a nice 5th in the Geldings at halter class against 7 entries. They also made a nice showing in the Youth handler class. We look forward to more success from this team.
  Gen's Howl at the Moon
Gen’s Howl at the Moon went to school! “Howler” was the talk of the day at Foley Middle School. The kids enjoyed asking questions about horses and learning about the Tennessee Walking Horse. Some of the kids had never touched a horse and were thrilled to get the opportunity to do so. Howler was a true gentleman and softly munched hay as the eager hands reached for him. He was glad to receive all the attention and adoration from the group. Thank you to TWBHEA for providing the kids with literature, pins, stickers, and bookmarks. It was a day they will always remember and we were honored to have been asked to participate.
  Mufreesboro, TN
Justin Hackett and Lucky Joséfina made a great showing at the International Championships in Murfreesboro, TN, coming home with nice 10th place tie in the Youth Handler Yearling class

She also took the reserve in the evening Model class with Donna Armstrong. Lucky Joséfina brought home her first Championship blue in the yearling halter class. We were all very proud of our girls!
